Happy 4th of July!!!
Here’s my plan for today:
Step 1 — Breakfast: Ezekiel toast
I always wake up ready for breakfast, so I fix it pretty much right away.
Step 2 — Blog
It’s easiest for me to think when Hubby is still sawing logs.
Step 3 — Dirty 30 workout & Post workout Protein latte & Watermelon fix
Step 4 — Relax
In the past, we’ve planned some elaborate ways of celebrating the 4th of July. We’ve done it all — family parties (pretty much my whole childhood), hanging with friends, going to festivals, etc…
For some reason, we’re just burnt out. We’re not big drinkers (in fact Hubby can’t drink at all due to some medication) — and we’re not into the obligatory nature of forced family fun… so we’re winging it today. We’re going to mostly relax and then try to enjoy ourselves…
Step 5 — Try to stay away for the fireworks!
I get up early so I go to sleep early. I’m pretty much pooped by 9pm. This makes staying up for fireworks difficult. We’ll see how today goes…
