Another week of training under my belt — and boy does it feel good!
Here’s what I did this week
Please note, these runs include a 5 minute warm up walk and a 5 minute cool down walk — so the mileage is walks + runs.
- 2 Cross training days: On Tuesday I did 30 minutes on the stationary bikes and on Thursday I did Pilates
- 2 days of gardening: Not really “cross training” but definitely still a work out! I sweat a ton in the garden!
To finish off this week like a pro, my plan is to do some weights tonight and yoga tomorrow!
Then it’s off to week 10 of training! It’ll be the first official week of the 8 week half marathon plan pictured below:

Any other gardeners out there? Do you consider it a working? (Pulling weeds in 90+ heat is definitely a great way to break a sweat!!)
