This morning’s workout was a 1 mile easy run. It was 85 degrees, partly cloudy, and not nearly as humid as it’s been.
I started with this video for my warm up.
I felt fast on my run! Not that I’m actually fast compared to other runners… but I felt fast, for me! My normal pace is an easy slow 16+ minute mile and I’m happy to even be moving! So to see these stats was a JOY this morning. As long as I’m moving!
I’m super proud of the 9:22 min/mi best pace — since I used the last few blocks as a sprint! I went at 90% so I know that I can beat the 9 min/mi time, just not for very long ^_^.
After my run I enjoyed one of my, now famous, Protein Lattes — SO GOOD! I used great cold coffee concentrate and half Vanilla Cream and half Chocolate protein powder. With lots of ice, of course.
Today’s Meal plan:
Breakfast: Protein Latte & Banana
Lunch: Grilled Chicken Salad
Dinner: Chicken Broccoli Pasta
Snacks: Cantaloupe, Apple + Almond butter, and Baby carrots with Peanut butter.
