Happy Marathon Monday all!!  As I’m writing this, I’m sipping on my “Hulk” smoothie — banana, strawberry, greens, almond milke, and greek yogurt — MMM!!

Planned:

Monday – 3 Mile Run

Tuesday – No run, Upper Body Strength

Wednesday – 4 mile run

Thursday – 3 mile run

Friday – No Run, Pilates

Saturday – 6 Mile Run

Sunday – No Run, Yoga + Active Recovery & Foam rolling (if needed).

Actual:

Monday – 3 Mile Run 😀

Wednesday – 4 mile run ;D

Thursday – 3 mile run 😀

Friday – No Run, Pilates

Saturday – 6 Mile Run BOOM!

Sunday – No Run, Yoga + Active Recovery & Foam rolling (if needed).

How’d it feel?

 

It feels SOO GOOD to be EXACTLY on plan!  I’m feeling good on my runs — but can tell that it’s starting to become more and more important to stretch.  Especially in my hamstrings and quads!

 

This week’s Plan

Monday – 3 Mile Run

Tuesday – No run, Upper Body Strength

Wednesday – 4 mile run

Thursday – 3 mile run + LEG DAY

Friday – No Run + Pilates

Saturday – 7 Mile Run

Sunday – No Run, Yoga + Active Recovery & Foam rolling (if needed)

 

I also plan to listen to several podcasts during my runs!  I’m alternating between Serial and Revisionist History… check them out!
