Marathon Monday Week #19!

Can you believe it’s been 19 weeks of training for this marathon?  Part of me is completely surprised by this number!  Where did the time go?!?

Today has been such a struggle.  The last few days too — I have a running nose, sore throat, swollen glands, and a throbbing head/neck!  SUCKS!

Thursday I was achy all over, so I listened to my body and stayed in bed instead of getting in a crappy 4 miles.  I went to bed Friday night with the sore throat and thought it was due to talking too much all week long.  Saturday morning was a real issue — and I wasn’t able to get my long run in 🙁  I didn’t want to force it and end up miserable — so I’m freaking out that my training is totally derailed!

Planned/Actual *notes*

Monday – 4 miles/ 4 miles

Tuesday – Upper Strength & Stretch / Upper strength & stretch

Wednesday – 6 miles/ 6 miles *treadmill* + Triceps & Chest

Thursday – Rest *body achy*

Friday – OFF/OFF *Sore Throat!!!*

Saturday – 14 miles / OFF – *SICK!!*

Sunday – Yoga + Foam Rolling / OFF – *SICK!!*

Monday – 4 Miles

Tuesday – Back & Biceps

Wednesday – 7 miles & Chest & Triceps

Thursday – 4 miles + Legs & Shoulders

Friday – Rest & Recover

Saturday – 14 miles

Sunday – Rest & Recover
