Measurements Monday!

After a few weeks of trying to figure out what could replace Marathon Monday, I just decided to do weekly check-ins of measurements.  This, combined with Weigh in Wednesday, will help me keep a more accurate picture of how my body’s changing.  My plan is to measure the first Monday of every month — and update with my progress.

Current Measurements

  • Waist: 41″
  • Chest: 38″
  • Hips: 43″
  • Biceps: 12″
  • Thighs: 24.5″
  • Neck: 14.5″
  • Wrists: 6.5″
  • Height: 5′ 5″

Measurement Goals

I don’t really know what my ideal measurements should be… so instead I have the following goals

  • Smaller waist
  • Slimmer face/neck
  • Leaner everywhere else


My biggest trouble zone is my waist.  I have an apple shape, so I gain weight in my stomach and my face — it’s so gross.  I currently look like I’m pregnant, though I have never been and current am not with child.  When I start to lose weight, I know that my stomach is also one of the first places that will shrink.


I also know that when I watch my carb intake, my stomach will fluctuate for the better.


Here’s hoping…

Hopefully, being mindful when I eat, being active in a new exciting way (Crossfit/bootcamp), and being aware of how my body’s changing from week to week, and month to month — beyond weight — will help me achieve my body measurement goals!!
