It’s so hot and humid here in NC right now!! I can’t believe how quickly the sweat starts pouring down my face and neck! SICK! GROSS!
Does anyone else hate the feeling of being super sweaty (when not at the gym?)??
Life here is returning to normal after my unusually busy and travel packed summer. Fall 2017 classes have begun and I’m starting to settle into a routine. My courses are all scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays this term — which is SO fortunate! That means on Tuesday and Thursdays I can play catch up with office time or by working from home.
I know how truly blessed I am to have such a schedule! And I aim to make the very most of it!
Today, I decided to work from home. I have been in my office every other day this week and will be again tomorrow, but there were so many things that needed to be addressed at the home front that I really had to just dig deep and finish up here. First thing in the morning I went out and ran a bunch of errands: fueling up the car, grabbing a few essentials at Walmart, and hitting the bank. Then I raced home to help hubby get ready for work before starting on my giant list of work to-do’s. In between work items, I’m cleaning – picking up clutter – doing dishes – and tackling our mini mountain of laundry.
Even my step counter is tired…
It’s not even 2pm and I have over 5,000 steps. And there’s still more to this day — it’s not even over!
All this running around has me needing to hydrate. The heat and humidity definitely sneak up on you and before you know it, you’re dehydrated! So drink up (*she says to herself*).
Today’s drinks of choice include: water, watered down gateraid, a diet coke with lunch, lots of coffee, and even more water.
