My Training Plan Update

Are you training, or what? As school is starting, I can’t help but start to organize and plan all aspects of my life.  If it doesn’t get planned – it won’t get done! It’s been 1 week since I completed my first marathon!! Marathon Monday — RACE RECAP!

I DID IT!!  I friggin ran my first ever Marathon! Happy Monday!!! This past week was another weird week of training!  The new issue is a weird back pain that makes it difficult to lift my leg!  Each stride felt like a nightmare — so I had to miss TWO runs!! 🙁   I’m worried, but rehab-ed really well (stretching, safe movements, and heat) and will approach this week renewed and re-dedicated!   After all, I have two long runs left before the taper!  18 miles this week and 20…

Happy Monday!!!   This past week was a weird week of training.  Fatigue, illness (including a persistent cough), and tummy issues all seemed to interfere with me this week.  The credit and illness are definitely linked — my runny nose and sore throat from last week turned into chest congestion and coughing this week.  This meant coughing all night — and lack of sleep…. 🙁   The tummy issues came up because I decided to try new ways of fueling….
