Weigh in Wednesday — 12/6/17

Weigh in Wednesday — 12/6/17

This week’s Weigh in — 189.0!    AHH! I had stepped on the scale the other day and was still reeling from that 195 flashing on the scale.  Last Saturday I was 192.6 (up from 189.4 just a few weeks ago).   What went well this week? This week, we stuck mostly to the meal plan and I used the new Weight Watchers Flex/Freestyle! Packing my lunches for work was a really good idea — and the Big Ass Salads for…

First Monday after a crazy eating spell!

First Monday after a crazy eating spell!

What the heck happened? I’ve been doing weight watchers Points Plus for the past 7 weeks — and I’ve noticed a startling trend.  Here’s what I saw: Not a single week was “perfect” or on plan!  NOT ONE! Mind you, my weight has still been trending downward — but each week I battled the binge!   I tracked everything I ate in both MyFitnessPal AND in my Bullet Journal (as a food log), and MFP shows that “on plan” is…

It’s Monday and I stayed up way too late last night…

I don’t know why I think I can operate on little to no sleep!  It always comes back to bite me and I can never make it work! Now I’m walking around like a zombie — because we didn’t get home until 10:45pm last night!  By the time I had gotten ready for bed and turned out the light, it was 11:30.  With a 5:30 wakeup call, that’s no good for a busy Monday, like the one I have today. …

Weigh in Wednesday — 11/8

Weigh in: My normal Saturday morning showed 189.4 on the scale!  This would be a loss of 0.2 pounds from last week!   In lieu of the normal screenshots from my HappyScale app, Please accept this happy panda:     Milestones: My HappyScale app has progress towards milestones and each week when I weigh in, it’ll let me know how close I am to completing these milestones. For the app, it just takes your starting weight and your goal…

Weigh in Wednesday – 10/4/17

Weigh in Wednesday – 10/4/17

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It’s Weigh in Time!   I have to admit, when I stepped on the scale today I was a bit disappointed — I weighted 194.8 when last week I weighted 194.4.  To me, this is like a gain of 0.4… but then I remembered I use Happy Scale for this very reason.  I had really low numbers most days last week, but after camping and feeling poopy my weight shot up.   My moving average is 193.5…

PR’s and Pecan Brittle

PR’s and Pecan Brittle

Started this morning at my gym with hubby.  We decided to warm up with a 500m row and work on some Deadlifts, bench press, and knee ups. Until I started lifting and doing functional fitness, I only ever associated PR’s with running times.  After today, I know that a PR can be applicable to many more things. Deadlifts Today was my third or fourth time doing deadlifts – ever – and I was able to deadlift more that 75% of…
